These Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms & Conditions") govern your access to and use of Sadhnastore.com ("Website") and your purchase of products through the Website.

Sadhna Store is a consumer-facing brand operated by Making India Enterprises ("Making India Enterprises", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing the Website, browsing products, placing an order, making a payment, creating an account, or otherwise using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully before using the Website or placing an order.

1. About Sadhna Store

Sadhna Store is an online retail brand operated by Making India Enterprises.

The Website offers Puja, Bhakti, Devotional and Hindu religious/ritual products and related products for customers in India.

The Website is operated using Shopify and may use third-party payment, logistics, technology, communication, analytics and advertising service providers.

2. Definitions

For these Terms:

"Sadhna Store", "we", "us" or "our" means the Sadhna Store brand and its operator, Making India Enterprises.

"Website" means Sadhnastore.com and its related webpages, pages, features and functionality.

"Customer", "you" or "your" means any person accessing the Website or purchasing Products from us.

"Product" means any product displayed or offered for sale through the Website.

"Order" means a request submitted by a Customer to purchase one or more Products.

"Services" means the Website, online shopping facilities, customer support and related services provided by Sadhna Store.

Actual Product colour may vary slightly from images depending on lighting, photography conditions and the display/device used by the Customer.

Unless expressly stated, decorative objects, accessories or background items shown in Product photographs are not included with the Product.

8. Product Availability

Products displayed on the Website are subject to availability.

A Product being displayed on the Website does not guarantee that it will remain available at all times.

If a Product becomes unavailable after an Order has been placed, Sadhna Store may contact the Customer regarding available options.

If an Order cannot reasonably be fulfilled, the applicable amount paid by the Customer will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

9. Akhand Jyot Burning Duration

Certain Akhand Jyot products may be described as capable of burning for a particular duration, such as up to 24 hours or up to 48 hours.

Any such duration may depend on factors including:

  • Quantity of oil used
  • Type of oil
  • Wick adjustment
  • Air movement
  • Environmental conditions
  • Correct use of the Product
  • Other operating conditions

Therefore, unless expressly stated otherwise, a stated burning duration is an "up to" duration and is not an unconditional guarantee of an exact number of hours in every circumstance.

Customers should follow all Product-specific instructions.

10. Product Claims and Religious Information

Sadhna Store may provide descriptions concerning traditional, devotional or religious use of Products.

Such information is provided for general, cultural and devotional purposes.

Sadhna Store does not guarantee any particular:

  • Spiritual outcome
  • Religious outcome
  • Financial benefit
  • Health benefit
  • Personal result

from the use of any Product.

Customers are responsible for deciding how Products are used according to their own religious, cultural and personal practices.

11. Pricing

Product prices displayed on the Website are the prices applicable at the time of purchase, subject to applicable taxes, shipping charges and other charges expressly disclosed before order confirmation.

Prices may change from time to time.

A subsequent price change will not ordinarily affect an already confirmed Order, except where permitted by law or where an obvious technical or pricing error has occurred.

12. Taxes and Other Charges

Applicable taxes, shipping charges and other charges, where applicable, will be disclosed to the Customer before the Order is completed.

Customers should review the final order summary before confirming their purchase.

Applicable invoices and tax documents will be issued in accordance with applicable law.

13. Pricing and Technical Errors

Although we take reasonable care when publishing Product information, occasional typographical, technical, inventory or pricing errors may occur.

If a material error is discovered in relation to an Order, Sadhna Store may contact the Customer to clarify the situation.

Where an Order cannot lawfully or reasonably be fulfilled because of a genuine material error, Sadhna Store may cancel the affected Order and provide the remedy required under applicable law.

This provision will not be used to arbitrarily cancel valid Orders.

14. Promotions, Coupons and Offers

Sadhna Store may offer promotional discounts, coupons, special offers or other promotional benefits.

Promotions may have additional terms, including:

  • Product restrictions
  • Minimum order value
  • Usage limits
  • Customer/order limits

Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotional offers:

15. Placing an Order

Sadhna Store may cancel an Order in legitimate circumstances including:

Where payment has already been received and a refund is legally or otherwise appropriately due, it will be processed in accordance with applicable law.

  • Other payment methods supported by our payment service providers

Sadhna Store does not intentionally store complete card numbers, CVV numbers, UPI PINs or internet banking credentials on its own systems.

18. Cash on Delivery

Cash on Delivery ("COD") may be available for eligible Products, locations and Orders.

Sadhna Store may conduct reasonable COD verification, including contacting the Customer through phone, SMS, WhatsApp or other available communication methods.

COD availability may be restricted for certain Orders or locations due to legitimate operational, logistics or fraud-prevention considerations.

Any COD-related charge, if applicable, will be disclosed before the Order is confirmed.

19. Order Cancellation

A Customer may request cancellation before dispatch.

Cancellation is not guaranteed once an Order has entered processing, packing or dispatch.

Once an Order has been dispatched, cancellation may not be possible.

Sadhna Store will not impose a cancellation charge in a manner inconsistent with applicable law.

The Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 contain specific provisions concerning cancellation charges and require symmetry between cancellation charges imposed on consumers and comparable charges borne by the e-commerce entity when it cancels an Order unilaterally.

20. Shipping and Delivery

Orders may be delivered through third-party courier and logistics partners.

Any delivery timeline shown on the Website is an estimated timeline unless expressly stated otherwise.

Delivery may be affected by:

  • Weather conditions
  • Natural disasters
  • Transport disruptions
  • Strikes
  • Government restrictions
  • Remote-location logistics
  • Incorrect customer information
  • Customer unavailability
  • Courier-related delays
  • Other circumstances beyond reasonable control

Sadhna Store will take reasonable steps to assist Customers with genuine delivery-related issues.

21. Returns, Replacement and Refunds

Sadhna Store follows a No-Return / No-Refund commercial policy for ordinary customer-initiated returns, including:

  • Change of mind
  • Product no longer required
  • Personal preference
  • Customer not liking the Product
  • Incorrect selection of size or variant
  • Customer expectations differing from Product information
  • Other non-defect reasons

However, this commercial policy does not exclude or restrict any consumer right or statutory remedy that cannot legally be excluded.

22. Damaged, Defective, Wrong or Incomplete Products

If a Customer receives a Product that is:

  • Damaged
  • Broken
  • Defective
  • Materially different from the Product ordered
  • Incomplete
  • Missing an essential component

the Customer should contact Sadhna Store preferably within 24 hours of delivery.

For transit-damage claims, the Customer is strongly requested to provide a complete, continuous and unedited unboxing video showing:

  1. The unopened package
  2. Shipping label
  3. Opening of the package
  4. Product being removed
  5. Product condition
  6. Packaging material

Sadhna Store may request additional photographs, videos or other reasonable evidence for verification.

Where an eligible claim is verified, replacement with the same Product/variant will ordinarily be the standard commercial resolution, subject to availability and applicable law.

Refund will not ordinarily be the standard commercial resolution where an appropriate replacement can lawfully be provided.

Nothing in this section limits any mandatory statutory remedy.

23. Unboxing Video and Damage Verification

Because certain Products may contain glass and other delicate components, Customers are strongly advised to record a complete unboxing video before opening the Product.

The video should be:

  • Continuous
  • Clear
  • Unedited
  • Recorded from the beginning of opening the package
  • Sufficient to show the Product and packaging condition

The video may be used to investigate transit damage and coordinate with logistics providers.

Sadhna Store may reject a claim where available evidence reasonably indicates that the claim is false, manipulated or unrelated to transit/product damage, subject to applicable law.

The 24-hour reporting period and evidence requirements are intended for efficient verification and do not remove any statutory consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

24. Product Safety

Certain Products may involve oil, flame, heat or glass.

Customers must use such Products responsibly and according to the instructions provided with the Product.

Customers should:

  • Keep burning Products away from curtains, paper, fabric and other combustible materials.
  • Keep Products away from children and pets.
  • Place Products on stable, heat-resistant surfaces.
  • Never leave an open flame unattended.
  • Handle glass components carefully.
  • Use the recommended oil and wick settings.
  • Follow all Product-specific safety instructions.

Customers should not modify Products in a manner that changes their intended operation or creates a safety risk.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded.

25. Customer Reviews and User Content

Where the Website allows Customers to submit reviews, photographs, videos or other content, Customers must ensure that their content:

  • Is genuine and based on actual experience.
  • Is not unlawful.
  • Is not defamatory.
  • Is not fraudulent or misleading.
  • Does not infringe another person's intellectual-property rights.
  • Does not contain malicious software.
  • Does not improperly disclose another person's personal information.

By submitting content, the Customer grants Sadhna Store a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to reproduce, display, publish and use the submitted content for legitimate business, Website, marketing and promotional purposes, subject to applicable law.

Sadhna Store may remove or moderate content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

26. Intellectual Property

The Sadhna Store brand and original Website content, including where applicable:

  • Sadhna Store name
  • Sadhna Store logo
  • Brand marks
  • Product photographs
  • Product videos
  • Product descriptions
  • Graphics
  • Website design
  • Text
  • Original creative content

are owned by or licensed to Sadhna Store or Making India Enterprises, unless otherwise stated.

You may use the Website for personal and lawful shopping purposes.

Without prior written permission, you may not:

  • Copy our Website design.
  • Reproduce our logo or branding commercially.
  • Copy Product photographs for commercial use.
  • Reproduce substantial Website content.
  • Scrape Website content for unauthorized commercial purposes.

27. Prohibited Website Activities

To the extent permitted by applicable law, a Customer may be responsible for losses or reasonable costs directly arising from the Customer's:

  • Fraudulent conduct;
  • Unlawful use of the Website;
  • Intentional misuse of the Services;
  • Material violation of these Terms;
  • Infringement of Sadhna Store's or Making India Enterprises' intellectual-property rights.

This provision does not apply to the extent the relevant loss was caused by Sadhna Store's unlawful conduct or where such indemnity is prohibited by law.

37. Suspension or Termination

Sadhna Store may temporarily restrict access to the Website or suspend an account where reasonably necessary due to:

  • Fraud;

Customers may use the grievance mechanism provided on the Website.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from approaching any Consumer Commission, statutory authority, regulator, court or other forum where such right is available under applicable law.

Any dispute-resolution mechanism adopted by Sadhna Store shall remain subject to mandatory consumer protections and applicable law.

40. Consumer Rights and Statutory Protections

Nothing in these Terms is intended to:

  • Waive consumer rights;
  • Restrict mandatory consumer protections;
  • Exclude a remedy that cannot legally be excluded;
  • Misrepresent cancellation, replacement or refund rights;
  • Create an unfair contract term.

Where applicable law provides a Customer with a right or remedy that differs from these Terms, the applicable law shall prevail.

41. Grievance Redressal

Where the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 apply, Sadhna Store will maintain the applicable grievance mechanism and comply with the relevant requirements. The Rules provide, among other things, for acknowledgement of consumer complaints within 48 hours and redressal within one month from receipt.

42. Changes to These Terms

Sadhna Store may update these Terms from time to time to reflect:

  • Changes in Products;
  • Changes in Website functionality;
  • Changes in technology;
  • Changes in applicable law or regulatory requirements.

43. Severability
